How to Upgrade or Downgrade Your FeedbackRobot Plan
Why You Might Change Your Plan
As your business grows or your feedback strategy evolves, you may need more survey responses, AI credits, or premium features like API access and white-labeling. FeedbackRobot makes it simple to adjust your plan without interrupting your workflows or losing any of your existing data.
Before You Begin: What to Know
- Billing Cycle - Plan changes take effect immediately and are prorated based on your billing cycle.
- Data Retention - All historical surveys, responses, and settings remain intact when you switch tiers.
- Feature Availability - Downgrading may disable features not included in your new tier (e.g., custom branding, API access).
- Check Add-Ons - Before switching plans, review available add-ons, such as multi-language surveys, WhatsApp delivery, or extra AI credits, as they might cover your needs without a full plan change.
Step-by-Step: Upgrading Your Plan
- Log In and Navigate to Settings
- Click your avatar in the bottom left corner.

- Open the Billing and Plans Tab
- Select one of them
- You’ll see your current plan highlighted along with available upgrades
- Consider Add-Ons First
- If you only need one extra feature (ex. WhatsApp Delivery), scroll to Add-Ons and toggle it on.
- Add-on charges are also prorated and can be simpler than a full plan upgrade.
- Select Your New Plan
- Compare plans (Starter, Pro, Growth, Enterprise) and click Upgrade under your desired plan.
- Enterprise inquiries will prompt a sales rep follow up.
- Confirm and Pay
- Review prorated charges and the new monthly rate.
- Enter or confirm your payment method, then click Confirm Upgrade.
- You’ll receive an email confirming the change and updated billing details.
Tips for a Smooth Transition
- Plan Ahead - Check your monthly survey volume before downgrading to avoid hitting limits.
- Notify Teams - Alert integrations or localization teams if features like API access or multi-language surveys change.
- Leverage Add-Ons - Sometimes a single add-on is all you need, cheaper and faster than a full plan change.
